Editor, Assistant Editor
IATSE LOCAL 700
Noah Cody has over seven years of assistant editing and editing experience. He received his education at UC Berkeley, where he majored in Film Studies, and the AFI, where he received both his Master's Degree with a concentration in Editing and earned a place as an instructor in AFI's Editing Program.
He's recently returned from Georgia, where he was assistant editor for The Tomorrow War starring Chris Pratt. He's also been an assistant editor on a wide variety of feature films and television, ranging from Deadwood: The Movie to Clean starring Adrien Brody, and Undeniable with Dan Patrick - a sports talk show.
In 2014, Noah was nominated by the America Cinema Editors for a student-editing award. Films he edited such as Pyromance, The Wild Child & The Miracle, and Join Us, have gone on to win film festivals and garner attention around the country.
Given an inherent knack for technology, he is proficient in Avid, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Final Cut. He understands the importance of file management - from dailies, turnover, visual effects editing, stock footage, and sound effects editing.
Having worked on major feature films, syndicated television, aired commercials, and acclaimed short films - the breadth of Noah's work should speak to the volume of his skill and knowledge for the craft of editing and assistant editing.
